Pēters Putniņš
FCMC Chairman

Pēters Putniņš was born on 23 September 1973. Putniņš holds a master degree in Law from the University of Latvia (2010) and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Latvia (1996).

Previous professional experience has been closely related to the financial sector. From 2005 to 2012, Putniņš had been consultant at the Bank of Latvia on legal matters, but from 2002 to 2004 - Head of Legal Department at the Bank of Latvia. Attorney-at-Law since 2005. From 2001 to 2002, had been Vice President of joint stock company Reģionālā investīciju banka. Putniņš also had been employed with insurance joint stock companies Balta and Rīgas Fenikss, as well as with Spāde un Miķelsons Law Office.
On 20 December 2012, appointed as Deputy Chairman of the FCMC.

On 11 February 2016, appointed as Chairman of the FCMC.

 

Gunta Razāne

FCMC Deputy Chairwoman

Gunta Razāne was born on 7 May 1966. In 1989, she graduated from the Riga Technical University with a Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance. 

Razāne was previously employed as a marketing representative at the Latvian wood processing company "Latvijas Finieris" in the United States (2013-2016), before she had been a representative of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the United States (2013-2014). 

Previous work experience was mainly related to the financial sector. From 2011 to 2012, Razāne was a senior corporate customer manager at Latvia’s AS SEB Banka AS SEB Banka (2011-2012). She had been a senior analyst at several foreign banks (including in the field of credit risk management and Basel II): Bank DnB NORD (2006-2011), SAXO Bank (2005-2006), HVB Bank Latvia (2003-2005), also Vereinsbank Riga (1998-2000 and 2003-2005) and held leadership positions in the first Latvian commercial banks as Deutsche-Lettishe Bank/AS Hansabanka (1993) and AS “Latvijas Kredītbanka” (1991).

She had also headed a representative office of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia in Sweden (2000-2003).

Professional experience was acquired also in the Ministry of Finance as a Deputy Head of the State Treasury (1993) participating in setting up the State Treasury of Latvia and its maintenance in early stages. 

On 27 October 2016, Saeima appoints Gunta Razāne to the position of FCMC Deputy Chairwoman.

 

Gvido Romeiko
Member of the Board of the FCMC

Gvido Romeiko was born on 13 May 1959. Studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia (1973-1982).

From 1990 to 1991 worked as legal advisor at the Ministry of Finance; from 1991 to 1994, Head of the State Insurance Supervision Department of the Ministry of Finance. From 1994 to 1995, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Insurance Company Pirmais nacionālais pensiju fonds. From 1995, Head of the Insurance Supervision Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance.

Since 1 July 2001, Member of the Board of the FCMC.

Ludmila Vojevoda
Member of the Board of the FCMC

Ludmila Vojevoda was born on 14 May 1962. Studied at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Latvia (1979-1984). Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants since 2008.

From 1985 to 1993, worked for the Institute of Economics, Latvian Academy of Sciences. From 1993 to 1995, supervision specialist at the Credit Institutions Supervision Department of the Bank of Latvia; from 1995, Head of the Banking Regulations and Analysis Division of the Credit Institutions Supervision Department.

Since 1 July 2001, Member of the Board of the FCMC.

 

Nora Dambure
Member of the Board of the FCMC

Nora Dambure was born on 5 October 1972. Dambure holds Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Latvia (1998).

Previous work experience has been related to the supervision of financial market participants. Dambure has been working for the FCMC since its establishment, i.e. 1 July 2001. Since 2017, she had been Deputy Director of Supervision Department, but from 2011 to 2017, headed the Monetary Financial Institutions Operations Analysis Division. Dambure had previously been a supervisory specialist of Credit Institutions Supervision Department at the Bank of Latvia and from 1995 to 2000 had worked at the joint stock “Pirmā Latvijas Komercbanka”.
