Irēna Krūmane

Irēna Krūmane was born on 24 March 1963. Studied at the Institute of International Relations of the University of Latvia (1990 – 1991) and the Finance and Trade Faculty of the University of Latvia (1981– 1986).
From 1991 to 1992, worked as Head of External Economic Relations Division at the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Latvia.
In 1992, Director of the company Park Ltd.
From 1992 to 1998, worked at the JSC Latvijas Zemes banka, Member of the Board.
From 1998 to 2000, Member of the Board of the JSC Hansabanka.
From 2000 to 2004, worked at the JSC Baltijas Tranzītu banka, Member of the Board, Vice President.
From 2004 to 2006, Treasurer in the Treasury of Republic of Latvia.
From 2006 to 2008, State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia.
Since 28 April 2008, Chairwoman of the FCMC.
Since 2004, Member of the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank.
Since 2005, Alternate Governor of the International Monetary Fund for the Republic of Latvia.
Jānis Brazovskis
Deputy Chairman, Member of the Board of the FCMC
Jānis Brazovskis was born on 14 July 1971. Studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia (1989-1993).
From 1993 to 1995, worked as legal adviser at the Joint Stock Company Latvijas Investīciju banka. From 1995 to 1996, legal adviser of the Legal Department of the Bank of Latvia; from October 1996, Deputy Head of the Credit Institutions Supervision Department for legal and licensing issues.
Since 26 October 2000, Deputy Chairman of the FCMC.
Jānis Placis
Member of the Board of the FCMC
Jānis Placis was born on 31 May 1951. Studied at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Latvia, speciality of economic cybernetics (1969-1974).
From 1974 to 1978 worked for the Institute of Economics, Latvian Academy of Sciences; from 1978 to 1991, for the Computing Centre of the Ministry of Light Industry; from 1991 to 1993, for the Joint Stock Company SWH Riga. From 1993, worked at the Credit Institutions Supervision Department of the Bank of Latvia; from 1994, Deputy Head of the Department; from 2000, Head of the Department.
Since 1 July 2001, Member of the Board of the FCMC.
Gvido Romeiko
Member of the Board of the FCMC
Gvido Romeiko was born on 13 May 1959. Studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia (1973-1982).
From 1990 to 1991 worked as legal advisor at the Ministry of Finance; from 1991 to 1994, Head of the State Insurance Supervision Department of the Ministry of Finance. From 1994 to 1995, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Insurance Company Pirmais nacionālais pensiju fonds. From 1995, Head of the Insurance Supervision Inspectorate of the Ministry of Finance.
Since 1 July 2001, Member of the Board of the FCMC.
Ludmila Vojevoda
Member of the Board of the FCMC
Ludmila Vojevoda was born on 14 May 1962. Studied at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Latvia (1979-1984). Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants since 2003.
From 1985 to 1993, worked for the Institute of Economics, Latvian Academy of Sciences. From 1993 to 1995, supervision specialist at the Credit Institutions Supervision Department of the Bank of Latvia; from 1995, Head of the Banking Regulations and Analysis Division of the Credit Institutions Supervision Department.
Since 1 July 2001, Member of the Board of the FCMC.
