TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA is, as of today, January 18, 17:30 CET, under the resolution measures prescribed in Article 63(B) & 63(E) of Law 3601/2007 “ Taking up and pursuit of the business of credit institutions, capital adequacy of credit institutions and investment firms and other provisions”, as currently  in force,  by virtue of :

The Ministerial Decision on the setting up of the bridge credit institution by the name NEW TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA and the transfer of the property items of TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA to the NEW TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA forthwith, i.e. with effect from January 21, 2013. The above property items include, inter alia, TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA’s all legal relationships and any rights and obligations arising from its participation, in any manner, in regulated markets, exchanges, clearing systems, payment systems, financial instruments clearing and/or settlement systems, including obligations and rights relating to orders entered into the above Systems before the transfer of the TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA’s property items hereunder that have not been cleared, netted or settled by that time. 
The Decision of the Resolution Committee, according to which a licence is granted to NEW TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA.
The Decision of the Resolution Committee, according to which the license of TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA is revoked, the respective legal entity is placed under special liquidation and a special liquidator is appointed.

?he Special Liquidator has indeed executed such transfer, as per the aforementioned Ministerial Decision, by virtue of contract signed today between the Special Liquidator and NEW TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA.

All transfer orders/notices from/to the NEW TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA. will continue to settle via the same BIC and on the same Central Bank settlement account as the former TT HELLENIC POSTBANK SA. Securities transactions at the Bank of Greece will continue to settle on the same securities account and their cash leg will continue to settle through the same cash management account.
