13.10.2016. Considering our previous notification on the extension of the suspension of the operations of the credit union “Amber” untill 31 October 2016, we would like to notify that on 10 October 2016 the Vilnius District Court made a ruling on the initiation of bankruptcy proceedings against credit union “Amber” and appointed the bankruptcy administrator. After this ruling made by the Vilnius District Court, the decision adopted on 20 September 2016 by the Resolution of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania No. 03-129 to permanently revoke the credit union licence of credit union “Amber” has come into effect.
26.07.2016. With reference to article 6 of directive 98/26/EC on settlement finality (with later amendments), please be informed that on 26 July 2016 at 00:00 a decision regarding the suspension of operations of the credit union “Amber” came into effect. The suspension decision is effective till 30 September 2016.
